Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have the space?

We extend the option for early access to the venue starting at 9 am and welcome you and your guests to remain until 10 pm. The duration of your access is contingent upon the package selected. The half-day package allows for a total of 6 hours, the full day package grants access for a total of 13 hours, and the weekend package allows access on Friday from 2 pm until 10 pm, Saturday from 9 am until 10 pm, and Sunday until noon.

 

What is your vendor policy?

 

Feel free to select vendors of your choice! All vendors operating within the venue must possess a valid business license and insurance. In the event that alcohol is to be served, including cases where you choose to bring your own alcohol, it is mandatory to have a TIPS certified bartender serving you and your guests. Proof of this certification must be given at least two weeks prior to the event.

 

What is the required deposit and when do I make payments?

A damage deposit of 20% of the rental cost is due at the time of your last payment. This damage deposit is refundable so long as there is no damage to the property, and all of the rules in the contract have been followed. The booking deposit varies based on the proximity of your event date to the time of booking. For events scheduled within 90 days of booking, the full amount of the event cost is due. Events scheduled between 91 and 180 days require a 50% booking deposit, while events booked 181 days or more in advance require a 25% booking deposit. Please be aware that the booking deposit is non-refundable, but will be applied toward your total amount due.

What is your pet policy?

​

We love animals! We gladly permit pets to take part in the wedding ceremony, provided they remain leashed. Once the ceremony has ended, we ask that the pets are removed. Please note that animals are not permitted within the event space.

 

Is there a kitchen onsite?

​

Although there is not a kitchen onsite currently, that is definitely something we hope to have in the near future!

 

Is it possible to have both my ceremony and reception at this location?

 

Absolutely! We offer several outdoor setup choices and permit the use of our wooden arbor for your ceremony. In the event of inclement weather, ceremonies have been relocated indoors to the barn.

Is the barn heated/cooled?

 

The two ADA compliant bathrooms are heated, however the main space is not heated/cooled. This is another feature we hope to have in the near future! We do have two large barn doors that open on each side, that allow for a breeze throughout the space. We also have large ceiling fans to help keep things cool. We have also hosted a number of events in the cooler months.
